Operation Christmas Child

The Excitement of a Shoebox

Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift- filled shoeboxes. Each box full of gifts is a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child.

Shoebox gifts are like snowflakes—no two are alike!

—Franklin Graham, President, Samaritan’s Purse

What Can I Do?

Build A Shoe Box at Chapel

Join us this October as we come together to pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and share God’s love with children around the world!

 Sundays: October 4, 11, 18 & 25

10:00–10:30 AM

Cousins Hall at the Chapel

How You Can Help

For any donation, you can pack a shoebox with 10–12 items provided for you. We will also have reasonably priced “Wow” items that can be purchased; like stuffed animals, or soccer balls.

It’s a simple and fun way to make a difference!

If you would prefer, you can also have a personal shopper pack a box for you. Just ask one of our friendly volunteers, and we’ll be happy to help!

Once your shoebox is packed:

  • Take your box home and add any additional items as God leads.
  • Write a personal note to the child who will receive your shoebox.
  • Pray for the child who will receive your gift.
  • Register your box online and provide the shipping donation.
  • Track your box to see where it will be sent!

Every shoebox is more than a gift—it’s an opportunity to show a child that they are loved and remembered.

Build A Shoe Box On-Line

Online shoebox gifts can reach children in some of the hardest-to-reach places in the world. Many of these areas are resistant to the Gospel, and some areas children have never heard the Name of Jesus.

Volunteers Needed!

Help Us Share the Love of Jesus Around the World!

We are looking for volunteers age 13 and older to serve at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Atlanta and be part of something truly special!

Before the millions of shoebox gifts collected each year can bring hope and joy to children around the world, each shoebox must be carefully inspected, prepared, and made ready for international shipment. Volunteers like you make this possible!

Each year, tens of thousands of volunteers serve at processing centers across the United States following National Collection Week—the third week of November—and continuing into December.

Your time and willingness to serve can help ensure that each shoebox reaches a child with a gift, a message of hope, and the opportunity to hear about the love of Jesus.

Come be a part of showing boys and girls in need around the world that “It’s All About Jesus!”
