Children & Youth

Investing in the Next Generation

Our children and youth are not just the church of tomorrow; they are a vital part of our church today. Our strategic mission is to partner with families to lay a strong spiritual foundation, teaching them about God’s love, the truth of Scripture, and preparing them to follow Jesus on life's road ahead.

Children's Ministry: Building a Foundation

“Let the children come to Me” – Jesus

We invite your children to join us each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for engaging Sunday School and other ministry opportunities designed to nurture their faith. Parents are encouraged to participate and connect.

Sundays for Preschoolers

"Let the little ones come…"

Every Sunday at Big Canoe Chapel, we provide a safe, loving environment for our littlest ones. Our staffed nursery is available for children up to age 4, with both Nursery and Children’s Sunday School beginning at 10:30 a.m. Through a mix of interactive games, creative crafts, and engaging storytime, your children will begin their journey of learning about the love of Jesus.

Summertime at the Chapel

"Summertime is Funtime"

We make the most of our summer at the Chapel! Join us for Vacation Bible School, held Monday through Thursday during the first week of June.

Cub Scout Pack 20

We’re home to Cub Scouts from Big Canoe, Bent Tree, Jasper, Dawsonville, Marble Hill, Tate, and Ballground. Our pack is chartered by the Big Canoe Chapel, but it is not necessary to be a Chapel member to join us.

Youth Ministry: Growing in Discipleship

Youth who have completed grades 6-12 are challenged to go deeper in their faith. We encourage them to experience authentic Christian fellowship, engage in relevant Bible studies, and discover discipleship opportunities to serve within the Chapel and beyond.

Boy Scouts

We’re home to Boy Scouts from Big Canoe, Bent Tree, Jasper, Dawsonville, Marble Hill, Tate, and Ballground. Our troop is chartered by the Big Canoe Chapel, but it is not necessary to be a Chapel member to join and be a Troop 20 Scout.
