Big Canoe Chapel offers opportunities for people of all ages to further their understanding of the Bible, its messages and its meaning. Wherever you are in your Christian journey there's a class or program.

Sunday School Programs

Pilgrimages

For the past several years, members and friends of the Chapel have been enriched by pilgrimages to special places. Two years ago, we went to Greece, Turkey, and the Greek Isles, retracing the journeys of Paul as the fledgling Christian Church took root throughout the Mediterranean world. Last spring, we went to Israel, where we visited significant sites in Old Testament history and walked in the footsteps of Jesus and the Disciples in Galilee, Samaria, and Judea.

The next pilgrimage to Greece is  scheduled for the spring of 2010. By such experiences we have found that the Bible comes alive for us, and our faith is deepened. Who knows where God will lead us in the future as we seek to experience again some of the watershed moments of Christian history. Read more ...
