The Benevolence Committee supports individuals in need, as
well as charitable and faith based organizations in Dawson
and Pickens Counties.
If resources allow, support is also considered for similar organizations in
surrounding counties.
Assistance is in the form of either one-time or scheduled financial support, based on reviewing recipient needs. For more information contact the Big Canoe Chapel office at (706) 268-3203.
Christmas Blessing Program
The Benevolence Committee's outreach includes the annual Christmas Blessing Program. It's our annual Christmas tradition of sharing Chapel blessings with those less fortunate in Dawson and Pickens Counties. Many volunteers are needed to serve as shoppers, drivers, packers, and Christmas Party planners--all working together to make Christmas so much brighter for families and foster children.
Read more about the 2008 Christmas Blessing Program. Everyone is encouraged to participate. For more information, please call Co-Chairs Dick and Sue Hammill at 706-268-1212.
